Why CwB
ABOUT CREATIVITY WITH BOUNDARIES
Creativity with Boundaries (CwB) was founded on a simple belief: companies shouldn’t have to choose between profitability and their people. Founder Matt Camp saw firsthand what happens when businesses chase profits at all costs. Teams get stretched thin, experience walks out the door, and the culture that built the company starts to erode. CwB exists to offer a better path.
We help companies close the process, people, and technology gaps that keep them from growing. When those pieces don’t move together, teams absorb the strain through longer hours, more hires, and more burnout, just to stay in place. When they’re improved together, capacity grows.
TWO DISCIPLINES. ONE ENGAGEMENT
What makes CwB different is how we work. Matt brings deep experience in operations and process engineering. Partner Judy L’heureux brings decades of HR, change leadership, and operations experience. Rather than handing you a process fix and leaving the people side for later, we work side by side, in every engagement, so the new processes and the people running them are built up together.
We build capable, well-trained teams that own their results and work toward a common goal. The outcome is change that’s adopted and results that last, while preserving the identity and legacy you worked so hard to build.
OUR MISSION
To help businesses grow by improving their processes, strengthening their people, and using technology wisely, so growth never comes at the expense of the team.
OUR VISION
Workplaces where people and profits grow together.
OUR CORE CONCEPT: CREATIVITY WITH BOUNDARIES
The name says it all—Creativity with Boundaries is built on a simple yet powerful principle:
When people are enabled by effective processes and empowered by strong leadership, creativity thrives—within boundaries that align everyday action to business objectives and customer needs.
This is accomplished through the creation of an autonomous workforce supported by a leadership team with a line-centric mindset. Add to this a proven process for strategy deployment that galvanizes everyone in the company to one True North, and you create a company that is agile, focused, and exceeding expectations
DELIVERING VALUE TO OUR CLIENTS
What We Deliver
We don’t just consult and hand you a report. We work alongside your team to build practical, scalable solutions that fit your existing best practices, and we make sure your people can sustain them long after we’re gone.
Stronger Processes
- Standard work, built by your team. Using employee-generated learning, the people who do the work help create the standard work, training materials, and job aids, faster and with fewer resources than traditional methods.
- Stable, predictable processes. We set clear process centerlines so your team knows what “normal” looks like and can quickly get back on track when problems come up.
- Simple management systems. Easy-to-run routines that reduce leaders’ workload while giving them a clear way to support their teams.
Stronger People
- Knowledge that stays in-house. We capture critical operational know-how before it walks out the door and build trust so experienced employees are willing to share it.
- Clear paths for growth. Skills assessments, training plans, and development paths that show employees where they can grow and help you plan for the skills you’ll need next.
- Change that sticks. We help leaders guide their teams through change, reducing resistance and building buy-in at every level.
Aligned Leadership
- One shared direction. Strategy deployment that connects every team to the same goals and energizes the workforce, instead of overwhelming it.
- Culture and engagement insight. A clear read on where your culture supports your goals, and where it’s holding you back.
Practical by design
- Technology with a purpose. We use technology, including AI, where it truly helps, never for technology’s sake.
- Momentum from day one. Fast, focused implementation that builds energy, controls cost, and keeps progress moving.
How we work with you, it’s what sets us apart

WHO WE ARE
Matt Camp is a seasoned operations professional with over 25 years’ experience in a number of industries ranging from food processing to tissue converting to part fabrication and assembly. He is a highly accomplished engineer and operations leader. Matt delivered exceptional results as a capital engineer leading major equipment installations and start-ups, as a process engineer driving cost savings and process improvements across the US and Europe and as an Engineering Technical Leader (ETL) driving major transformations. As an operations leader, he successfully led the square ham and turkey operation at an Oscar Meyer (KraftHeinz) plant, led operations for thermal spray and part fabrication at Thermal Spray Technologies (Part of Fischer Barton), and ran one of the largest private pizza plants in the US. Matt also gained experience leading several technical teams for fortune 500 companies including engineering manager and continuous improvement manager. Matt’s formal education includes achieving a bachelor’s degree from the U of Wisconsin-Platteville in Mechanical Engineering, completing the Lead Six Sigma Black Belt course (passing the ASQ exam), and completing a business certificate at the UW-Oshkosh business school. Matt lives in South-central Wisconsin with his wife of 23 years and their 4 amazing children.

Judy L’Heureux is a Partner at Creativity with Boundaries, where she leads People Operations & Change. She brings 25+ years of HR and operations leadership, including more than a decade at Ocean Spray, where she most recently served as Vice President, Organizational Effectiveness. There she led talent management and CEO succession reporting to the Board, partnered with a new CEO on organization design, and introduced a learning management system across 10 manufacturing plants. Earlier in her career, she was Vice President of Operations at Destination XL, leading initiatives across 350+ stores. She knows how change lands on the people who live with it.
At CwB, Judy leads the talent, culture, and change work: assessing readiness, identifying skill gaps and org design opportunities, planning for succession and knowledge transfer, and helping teams adopt new ways of working. She partners with Matt Camp, who leads process design and engineering, so operations and HR are working as one from the first conversation.
Her approach is collaborative and human-centered: work with the team, not around them, and leave them stronger than she found them. Judy lives in Rhode Island with her husband, Jeff, where they love spending time with their two children and their rescue dog, Jersey.
