The foundation of Creativity with Boundaries (CwB) is built on the following Core4:

• Everyone in the organization has a Line Centric Mindset
• Autonomous Process Owners respected at every level of the organization
• Standardized Processes with high level of specification including centerlines
• Cascading Goals throughout the organization that ensures alignment

The basis for the Core4 is based on the following:

• Lead by creating an environment where people can be autonomous in the work they are doing and be “creative” because they are Enabled by highly specified processes and Empowered by the right leadership mindset

• The “boundaries” are created to ensure that the team is always driving towards what the business needs to be successful and to ensure that everything produced meets the customer’s requirements. These boundaries are created through the cascading of goals through every person in the company and through the creation of highly specified processes via centerlines

By focusing on the CWB Core4, leaders will create an environment that enables employees to be free to own their own process, which will in turn free up leaders to grow the business and make improvements. It will also create an environment where everyone feels confident in the process and this confidence will lead to high levels of Trust.
